PRESS STATEMENT - May 19, 2010
To be attributed to Terry Roberson, General Manager, Bermuda CableVision:
“Bermuda CableVision would like to notify its subscribers of anticipated interruptions to their cable service on May 21-23. This is due to technical difficulties experienced by Galaxy 15, one of many satellites that provide broadcast feeds to Bermuda and North America. IntelSat, the owner of the satellite, is unable to control Galaxy 15 and is moving programming over to an alternative satellite, Galaxy 12. Channels will be affected at different times over the weekend and each channel could be unavailable for up to an hour while the transition takes place. We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by this transition, which is outside of our control.”
