BERMUDA CABLEVISION TO HOST “SATURDAYS WITH THE GM”
(Hamilton, Bermuda, April 30, 2009) - Bermuda CableVision is launching a new initiative designed to help the company provide better customer service through increased communications and dialogue with their customers. Called "Saturdays with the GM," the programme involves a series of informal outdoor meetings to be held at convenient locations around the island. The meetings will be hosted by general manager, Terry Roberson, and other senior CableVision executives who will make themselves available from 11 AM to 1 PM to meet with customers and gather their input about current and future services. The first event will take place in St. George's on Saturday, 9 May 2009, in the parking lot next to Somers Supermarket across from the town square. CableVision is teaming up with Winky Dinky to offer soft drinks and hot dogs to customers at the events.
In addition to St. George's, similar events are planned for Somerset in June, Warwick in July and the city of Hamilton in August. Dates and specific venues will be announced via advertising in the Royal Gazette.
CableVision's general manager, Terry Roberson, explains, "We have set a company-wide goal to be one of the leaders in customer service in Bermuda. As part of that commitment, we want to go out and meet our customers, in their neighbourhoods, and give everyone an opportunity to speak directly with management, ask questions, provide input, and share some quality time with us. By reaching out to customers in this way, we hope to meet with as many of them as possible, face-to-face. We value their input and look forward to getting to know them better through these small neighbourhood events."
CableVision will also have information available about the company's latest products and services, including HDTV, Broadband Link high-speed data service, new TV channels, and more. In addition to enjoying refreshments, customers will be able to register to win prizes.
