BERMUDA CABLEVISION DOUBLES SPEED OF BROADBAND LINK
SERVICE AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO CUSTOMERS

(Hamilton, Bermuda, December 23rd, 2008) - Customers of Bermuda CableVision's Broadband Link high-speed data service will soon enjoy double the broadband speed for the same cost.

CableVision's Broadband Link, introduced in April 2007, is the island's only symmetrical data service, and differs from DSL in that the customer's data is carried over CableVision's advanced, fibre-based broadband network and not over telephone lines.

Effective December 23, 2008, CableVision will double the speed of its 2 MB x 2 MB Broadband Link data service to 4 MB x 4 MB on our platform, while keeping the monthly rate for the service unchanged at $35/month. This means it will be faster than ever to download videos, software, photos, music and games.

While we will be doubling customers' speeds at no additional charge, Bermuda CableVision will also be upgrading its software for this product to Docsis 2.0. This will increase the bandwidth for this product as well as provide higher upload speeds. CableVision customers will receive all these great additions with the same modem and will not need to download any new software at home.

Plus, you don't even need a phone line, which is important to that large percentage of the Bermuda market that use only cell phones. These are just some of the advantages of being on our broadband network, and now with double the speed available on our platform, there's never been a better time to come over to Broadband Link and also increase your speeds with your ISP.”

Participating Internet Service Providers (ISPs) who are offering CableVision's 4 MB x 4 MB Broadband Link with their service include Logic, Fort Knox, North Rock and Transact. Customers may also sign up by calling CableVision directly.

The cost for Broadband Link is $35 per month, in addition to the Internet package purchased by the customer from their ISP. The service is installed by a professional CableVision technician, at a one-time installation fee of $50 for existing CableVision customers. Non-CableVision customers require a full installation, which costs $100. The service also requires a cable
modem, which is an additional $55 added to the price of the installation.
