BERMUDA CABLEVISION ANNOUNCES ISLAND-WIDE AVAILABILITY OF BROADBAND LINK HIGH SPEED DATA SERVICE

(Hamilton, Bermuda - November 8th, 2007) - Bermuda CableVision today announced that its high-speed data service, Broadband Link, is now available island-wide.  CableVision has been rolling out Broadband Link parish-by-parish, and today switched on service to Sandys, the final milestone CableVision plans to make the high-speed, internet-boosting data service available to residents all over Bermuda.

Broadband Link, which offers Internet speeds up to 2 MB in both upload and download modes, is offered over CableVision's fibre-based, broadband network, and is the only cable internet service available in Bermuda.  Rollin Nathan, sales manager, explains CableVision's progress with Broadband Link. “Now everyone in Bermuda can surf over our high-speed network," he says. "This marks the culmination of CableVision's efforts to make fast, affordable internet service accessible to all island residents.”

Participating island ISPs are Northrock, Logic, Transact and Fort Knox.  The monthly fee for Broadband Link is $35.  A cable modem is also required.

“Residents in any parish can now call their internet service provider, or CableVision, and in a flash they will be online and doing things faster, and saving money at the same time,” said Rollin Nathan.
