The Problem
The Solution

Green POWER
light is OFF

Check that the power adapter is plugged in. Power adapter may vary from illustration.
Try pressing the Standby Button.
Cannot receive
or send data
If you have Cable TV, Check that your TV is working and the picture is clear. If you cannot receive your regular TV Channels, your data service will not function.
Try pressing the Standby Button if the Standby light is ON.
Check the coaxial cable at the cable modem and wall outlet.
 

Broadband Link Modem Issues

If there are no power lights, please check the power cables to be sure they are plugged in

If any modem will not complete these steps, a technician will have to be dispatched.

POWER - If the green POWER light is on, the modem is powered on and searching for signal

RECEIVE - If the green RECEIVE light is on, the modem has locked in Forward signal.

RETURN - If the green RETURN light is on, the modem return path shows completion.


ONLINE - If the green ONLINE light is on, this shows you have a functioning modem.

STANDBY - If the yellow STANDBY light is on, this means the modem has its Standby button pressed, the remedy is to push the Standby button to resume normal operation
